Happy First Birthday Graye!!!

Graye turns 1 on July 12, but we had his party last weekend. It was a ton of fun, lots of people came, we had hotdogs and a big car cake, and some dips in the "pool" as well! Thanks everyone for coming, we almost had to move venues due to the tornado! Thanks especially to Ryan's family who came and helped us get it all straightened out and made some salads as my macaroni salad would have been a little crunchy with no power to boil the water for cooking! I forgot to post those pictures before all this birthday stuff so they will be above this post I guess.

Anyways HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAYE!! Hope you had as much fun as we all did!

Lots of Friends and Family!

We had a big turnout for the party too, lots of Graye's friends and family made it out including...

...the NEWEST friend, Nalani, Jacinta's new baby sister;

Dida got lots playtime in;

Uncle Mike, Aunty Jeanette, Ella and Maizie all came down from Regina to party;

best neighbor Paige, who needs lots of playtime with Graye as she won't be able to visit all the time for much longer! =( She is moving all the way to Nunavit... but she'll be back for lots of visits (right???)

Presents!!

Graye was of course spoiled on his birthday. Some of the gifts included a whack of fancy clothes from Baba and Dida, as well as the McKeague's (mom's favourite gifts!), a growth chart that Nana made, a big box of mega blocks and tools from Farfar, and tons of other (NOISY!) toys from everyone! Graye says thank you SOOOO much! He also had lots of help opening everything, so thanks for that too!! =)

Hoot!

SORRY!! I have been very very lame at updating this blog lately! Mainly Graye doesn't let us do anything else but the necessities and that's done quite grudgingly. I have decided that I NEED to get some of these photos up though, as the threats if I don't have become more and more insistent.

As some of you may know Dionne is a super fan of Harry Potter (yes, she's 27 years old!) So for the big book release she is having a Harry Potter party (or Pooper Party or Pot Party depending on who you speak to) and for the big day she bought Graye a Hedwig costume. This is the result:

Edmonton Trip

We had burgers for lunch AND dessert! This is the "Father's Day" cake that Ryan's cousin Danny made for the big day - she's amazing hey?

Graye also had his first ice cream cone (Graye sized) with Aunty Carlene.

Anglin Lake

The Andersen family went to Anglin Lake last weekend for Dad Andersen's 60th birthday. There were more mosquitoes there than I'd like to ever see again, but other that that it was a fantastic weekend, with weather to match.

Sunset on the Dock

There was a beautiful sunset Saturday night, and Aunty Jeanette took some really nice pictures of Graye and I on the dock. Nana and Maizie were also having some cuddles, as well as Daddy and Graye.
