Scandanavian Club Christmas Party

Ryan's parents belong to this club and every year there is a Christmas party for the kids along with supper for everyone. Graye had a blast decorating his gingerbread man, running around with a little buddy he found, dancing with mom, listening to the piano man, and (especially!) meeting Santa! He was also the best at doing the limbo!! (No, I don't think he had any kind of advantage!) Tegan did pretty good too, mostly just took everything in. Oh, and she LOVED the supper (as did I!) All in all, a good time had by... all. =)

Big Accomplishments!

Sorry the quality is quite bad. Just before bedtime and the light downstairs is not very bright! You get the idea though. =)

Decorating the Tree!

Thanks to Farfar for picking up a tree for us! We decorated it a couple nights ago... well, I decorated and tried to keep the decorations on while Graye went around and tried to pull them all off again. To give him credit he did put them back "on" after by shoving them into the tree until they stayed.

Graye's decorating technique: finding a bow that will hold the decorations and just making a pile of them there.

This week...

I finally got a chance to finish the paint in Graye's room - put a puppy dog stencil all the way around. Graye thought it was pretty good, especially since the one white dog in the middle looks like Baba and Dida's dog, Buster.


Tegan got a Christmas 'Who' Hairdo after her bath the other night!

Tegan also got quite sick a couple nights ago so we went to the hospital as her fever was really high. She's ok now, has a cold and cough, but that's pretty typical for winter/Christmas in our family! Getting flowers made it all much better... thanks Daddy!

More stuff for Dad...

I sat Tegan on the edge of the sink on the counter in front of me while I was getting ready the other morning. She somehow managed to squirm her way right into the sink to be sitting like this... (she had been facing the other way when I put her up there too!)

Dionne got Tegan and Graye new "Christmas" snowsuits that she had been looking at for a while. Unfortunately Graye's was pulling his head down (and crotch up!) and Tegan's was a little too big! We'll get it sorted though, they are great in all other aspects!



This is how I found Graye after putting Tegan to bed tonight. Fast asleep. I really wanted to also take a picture of his forehead when I picked him up, as the carpet had left quite a lovely impression, but thought that might be a bit mean. Not the picture, just the flash in the face! =b

Ryan has gone back to San Diego to make another record. He's been there for almost 2 weeks and will be there for at least that many more. So here are a couple pictures of a few things the kids have been doing!

On a side note - this is the first time I've posted from the new house... MAN is it fast to upload photos!! I LOVE it! Usually I am writing all the comments out while it uploads then still sit for awhile before they come up. I barely got the first sentence down this time!! So awesome.

Doesn't Graye look so happy to be dressed up? I think this was one occasion where the younger sibling convinced the older one that doing something was fun. Or else just distracted him enough in her costume so that he didn't really notice us putting him into his. =b

Just a note...

I was trying to post 2 sets of family pictures we had done and for whatever reason (stupid blogger) it doesn't want to load any of them. Maybe they are just too big. I will look into it further but for now you can see the newest ones on my mom-in-law's site. There are some really great ones in there! Take a look.

Stuff we did.

Tegan with her first chocolate cookie. I have to say we are not nearly so discriminating in what we give Tegan to eat as we were with Graye. Probably because she sees Graye eating something and immediately wants some too. And how can you say no to a face like this?

We are moving into Saskatoon on the 8th of Nov. (Saturday!! EEK!) so we had to start packing. Most important things first!

Tegan's new cutest outfit. So hard to resist these things... ESPECIALLY when they are on sale! So she got a new outfit for Daddy's birthday. =D
