WEDDING DAY!!

I should also note that I was not picky with any of the photos I have been posting, which is why you have got 10 photos of kids on the beach. I like all of them, so they're getting posted!

My mother-in-law made all the girls' dresses as well as Graye's vest. They all looked so cute! Even if I couldn't get a single good picture of all of them together... with all the photographers around I'm sure someone did!

Graye and Tegan - READY!

Helping others get ready -

It's on! Tegan did great flinging her flower petals into the air all the way up the path. Glad we have it on video too (but no pics... sorry.)

Best looking guy there! ...sorry everyone else... you know how it is... ;)

Maizie and Ella carrying the train like superstars!

Proud family.

Classic Graye. So proud. Sooooo proud.

The wedding party!

Graye performing his ring-bearing duties - (non-sarcastic) SO PROUD!

Kathy and family looking amazing!

Brothers running down the game play.

They had a butterfly release at the end of the ceremony (again... someone must have gotten a picture?!) Here's Graye after his flew away.

Job well done!

I helped decorate the "birch bark" cake. Yes... that is real bark. And real moss. And real cake!

Ryan's cousin Katrine came from Denmark for the wedding - Tegan loved her...

...and will love her even more when she is old enough to actually put all those tickets to use!

Congratulations Kristen and Chris! As Ryan said, and I quote: "Hope you have as perfect a marriage as ours!" ;) xoxox

WEDDING!! Day 2: Beach Day! (and prep day... no pics of that)

Sidenote: The problem with this future dated posting is that I can't post, look at it and make sure it's all good and in order, edit, repost, and then hope everyone only saw the finished version. I think there may be many mistakes and possible picture mess-ups with this method. Sorry about that.

Now to continue with wedding photos!

Day 2 - French toast for breakfast! We weren't hard-core camping, obviously. Or maybe WE were, but Nana wasn't (thank goodness!)

We spent the morning at the beach. As you can tell from the sky, we had a little rain (read - droves of rain), but it was only overnight and about half an hour after this it all cleared up and was nice and warm.

Graye trying his luck. Don't think he'll catch much more than brine shrimp as this is an extremely saline lake. You can't sink!

WEDDING PHOTOS!! Day 1: Thursday (Arrival Day)

Ryan's sister, Kristen, was married on June 25 at Camp Easter Seal in Manitou. We arrived the Thursday before and set up camp - it was an outdoors, camping wedding.

The kids packed into the car, ready to go! No room for even one more thing in there... we're lucky the kids are still small!

We celebrated Kristen and Erling's (Ryan's dad) birthdays as well - it was a good weekend to celebrate everything, I guess! Graye had a hard time waiting to "help" blow out the candles:

Mmmmmmm.... caaaaaake....

There were lilacs all around the campground that the girls were pretty much either picking or carrying around continuously.

I painted again! I deserve some sort of medal. Or something.

I painted a picture of my sister-in-law's (Ryan's sister's) dog, ODIN, for her and her husband as a wedding gift. This is currently my studio:

It's an old shower curtain on the floor in front of the TV. Note the slushee and chips and dip laying amongst the art supplies. I call that "inspiration". :)

Odin:

The kids trying to train the real Odin:

Note that Odin is a (gigantic... big as a horse... HUUUUGE) Newfoundland dog. He's also a super sweety, the kids love him.

Ryan's Dayjob!

Ryan starts his new job TODAY! He is "Head Instructor" at a new recording school that opened in Saskatoon. The kids and I took a tour... and helped Ryan get the feel of actually having students.

Graye turning it up to "11":

Learning... about YouTube kids' videos on the big screen.

They are going to be bringing in the big bucks any day now.

Father's Day Festivities

We had family from both sides over for supper on Father's Day - STEAK supper. Uh huh... we're good kids/wives. :)

My mom and dad first played "sleeping"...

...and then danced. I think they may have gotten confused with the itinerary - I'm sure my parents were wishing the sleep game came second.
