Pictures for Daddy

Ryan has gone back to San Diego to make another record. He's been there for almost 2 weeks and will be there for at least that many more. So here are a couple pictures of a few things the kids have been doing!

Hanging out with the new "fireplace".

Wearing the new puppy mitts and toque from Baba and Dida (he was making his tiger roar at the time - I was trying to get him to show the "paws" on the mitts!)

Tegan showing off her vampire fangs (and a few cheerios as well!)

Her hair is long enough to hold a barrette in it now!!

Graye and Tegan loving each other... gotta catch these rare moments on camera! =)

On a side note - this is the first time I've posted from the new house... MAN is it fast to upload photos!! I LOVE it! Usually I am writing all the comments out while it uploads then still sit for awhile before they come up. I barely got the first sentence down this time!! So awesome.

Fall Kids

These were a little smaller sized so I'll post more of them (see note[s] below!) You can still see all of them at mom-in-law's site!

Fall Family Photos

The Andersen Clan

The CRandersen Clan

Summer Family Photo

I was right: they are far too big. Darn. So I will pick my favourites and post them, one at a time! This was taken by Krissy Haines. Graye just turned 2 and Tegan is 6 months.

Happy Hallowe'en!!

Doesn't Graye look so happy to be dressed up? I think this was one occasion where the younger sibling convinced the older one that doing something was fun. Or else just distracted him enough in her costume so that he didn't really notice us putting him into his. =b

Meow.

That's better... found out dressing up means treats!

Just a note...

I was trying to post 2 sets of family pictures we had done and for whatever reason (stupid blogger) it doesn't want to load any of them. Maybe they are just too big. I will look into it further but for now you can see the newest ones on my mom-in-law's site. There are some really great ones in there! Take a look.

Stuff we did.

Tegan with her first chocolate cookie. I have to say we are not nearly so discriminating in what we give Tegan to eat as we were with Graye. Probably because she sees Graye eating something and immediately wants some too. And how can you say no to a face like this?

Tegan with Great Grandpa Andersen.

We are moving into Saskatoon on the 8th of Nov. (Saturday!! EEK!) so we had to start packing. Most important things first!

Tegan's new cutest outfit. So hard to resist these things... ESPECIALLY when they are on sale! So she got a new outfit for Daddy's birthday. =D

The last hot day...

...before fall actually kicked in. Thought I would try and get a few more pictures in nice summery clothes as the summer was ending fast! I usually go out to Borden and hang out with my dad once a week with the kids. That way his retirement has some excitement (ha! not that he needs it... but it is good exercise keeping up with a 2 year old while hauling a baby around!) and Ryan can get some work done without us all bugging him. This was one such afternoon in Baba's garden in Borden.

As I was looking at these pictures I realized they could be arranged with Graye slowly coming to meet Tegan and get in on the pictures too! Funny...ish. =D

Beauty Queen

I admit it. I entered Tegan in a cute contest. Which I normally would not consider doing, but it was for a Zellers "babyface" contest and they give a $10,000 RESP and a trip to toronto... I thought what the heck?? We still haven't gotten the big call saying she is the winner, but I know it's coming!! =b Here are a couple of the pictures that I took as possible send in shots.

Fall Harvest

Graye in the field behind our house right before they combined.

The wheat was eye-level and Graye was getting upset that he kept getting poked!

We went to the Threshermen's Festival that they have every year in Borden. Graye got to ride on the horse and didn't want to come down! Every 10 minutes or so we would ask him if he wanted down and every time the answer was a quiet "no" then he would look ahead and wait to keep going. Pretty funny!

He also got quite comfortable on the tractor. Between that and the horse he got his picture taken more times that day by all the grandmas and grandpas than he has all summer!
