Happy Birthday Visits

This weekend we went to Regina for our twin nieces' 1st birthday party. It was a blast to see how much Maizie and Ella are doing now! They'll be running around like crazy people by Christmas - just like everyone else I guess! It's funny to think that Graye will be doing all this within a year as well... CRAZY!

We went and visited Great Grandma while we were there, she and Graye finally got to meet!


Maizie and Ella opened up their gift from us... Ella thought the ribbon was a great gift idea!


The girls and Graye had some photos done together too. Graye couldn't quite figure out what to make of all this. He had his soother stolen out of his mouth a couple times, it was quite an interesting object for the girls... as was he!


It got downright scary there for a minute!


We had a family photo as well... a bit tough to get everyone looking the same way at the same time (Mike). =) Here's the best we could do!

Just in Time

Ryan managed to get all 16 giant bags of leaves raked up the day before all the snow fell. Lucky thing, spring would have been quite the adventure!

Graye and I helped too... supervising. (You missed one!) =)

Banana Baby

I thought Caileen and Ryan might want to see their contribution to the "Banana Baby" collection since they haven't actually seen him in it yet. So here's the monkey!

Family Photos

We were getting bugged that the grandparents didn't have any pictures with all three of us together.... so we took some! Just ignore the bags under my eyes... not a lot of sleep to be had the past couple of nights!! =)

Family Visits

We just had a visit from Great Grandpa Andersen and Ryan's cousin Lis who is from Ontario. Ryan and Lis figure they haven't seen each other for about 15 years! I, on the other hand, had the pleasure of meeting Lis last year at their grandparents 60th Anniversary. We had a blast then, and it was just as great to see her again now! Thanks for the visit!



Graye was listening very closely to what Great Grandpa had to say. Someone else needs to remember all those stories too!

Graye also loved hanging out with Aunty Lis - or 2nd Cousin Lis?? Cousin Lis twice removed? Not too sure how that all works so Aunty Lis it is! Hopefully we'll get to hang out again soon!

Party!

We had an early birthday party for Ryan on the weekend (his birthday is on the 25th) and it was a blast! Graye didn't quite make it to the end though, Uncle Ken's thumb was soooo good... and possibly tainted with sedatives.



All these cutie outfits are fitting Graye now. This one is from Joe and Krista - thanks so much, he loves it! It's true! I thought all these clothes he was given would take forever for him to grow into. Now he's going to grow out of them too soon! And I thought there were only cute outfits for girls.
