Spiderman!

This is the very first song that Graye has learned off by heart (no "Twinkle Twinkle" in this house!!) Admittedly random lines are often left out or combined together, and Spiderman apparently catches "weebes" - but other than that... he's pretty much a star. =D

Snow Angels

There still isn't enough snow for snowmen here, but enough for snow angels! At least it's been warm enough to play outside for the last few days. Hopefully the -45oC weather is done for the year.

School Christmas Concert

Graye had his first Christmas concert, and he did really well! I don't have any pictures of him because I was videotaping instead, but he stayed with his class and did all the actions (even if he didn't know all the words) =) It was great. Then they went and got a present from Santa (parent supplied!) Graye and Tegan are pros now at the Santa thing. Graye walked up turned around and waited to be lifted onto Santa's knee. Obviously didn't take him long to figure out Santa means presents and treats!

All things Christmas

Making gingerbread cookies;

Visiting with Santa;

and Eating Candycanes - but showing me first with a very determined expression.

Scandanavian Club Party with Cousins

Party wear... not sure Graye has the right idea. Actually looking at Tegan in this one, I'm a little concerned with the sweet housewife smile and frying pan in hand... =D

Ella trying to read to Tegan while Tegan makes herself comfortable.

Kinda cute kids...

Having meaningful discussions during bathtime.

They wanted to go to "sleep" - don't think that their definition is the same as mine!

Tegan was distracted enough after her bath tonight that I was able to attempt her first "real" French braids. Not too bad... I don't think they'll last until morning though! I need to work on my mom's technique - pulling until we looked like we were surprised about everything! =D

CHEEESE!!!

Santa!

The kids met Santa at Graye's preschool bake sale. They were pretty excited until it actually came time to meet him. Then Graye decided he really didn't need to tell Santa anything. =)

Hangin'...

Making Christmas crafts...

Entertainment

Tegan has been in a phase of LOVING socks lately. She needs to pick them out, and have some on at all times. If you take them off she gets VERY upset! Aunty Dionne found her this "Little MissMatched" collection of socks... there are 9 in a container with similar colours, but none that actually match. It was the best thing she ever laid eyes on! She kept wanting to try on different ones and would gather all the rest up and run around with them.

I made Graye a mask the other day, while colouring with the kids before bed. I don't think it was quite as good as the Batman mask Dad had made him... and I'm pretty sure the smile isn't as big underneath... but I was entertained!!

One more post... today.

Ryan and I decided to make Mardi Gras type masks for our Halloween costumes this year. We had a CD release party to go to for a band that Ryan produced, so we were forced to figure out some type of costume! We made these using plaster (like for casts) and many layers of drywall mud that we sanded down and then spray painted.

Happy Birthday 4th Maizie and Ella!

We went to Regina for Maizie and Ella's 4th birthday. They looked beautiful in their fancy party dresses! Unfortunately I think I grabbed the wrong camera at cake time and didn't get any pictures of the lovely butterfly cake that Jeanette made. I think she probably has a few on their camera though!

Tegan stacking blocks... she's pretty good!
